Aerial Yoga

After completion of the aerial yoga workshop here at Haven (or with the awareness of an aerial yoga class beyond this space), continue to explore transitions with ease as you find growth through support & body awareness. Only students who have experienced aerial yoga at least once may take this class. Drop your fears & explore a sense of freedom using a soft fabric hammock that supports and suspends you into inversions just 2-3 inches from the ground. Your aerial hammock will move you through yoga poses and assist your body to take on more challenging postures without strain, force, or effort. You will be able to achieve proper alignment, deeper stretches, more release in the joints & muscle fibers, gain abdominal & upper body strength, and conquer inversions. The benefits will compliment and give you more access to your flexibility & range of motion as well as allow you to find your foundation in your traditional practice.

Aqua Yoga

Tribal Flow

Tribal Flow is more than another vinyasa class. It moves to the beat of live drumming, fusing a traditional asana practice with hybrid variations, incorporating dynamic movement, isolations, and deep core engagement. Be ready for explosive bursts of activity to create more power. The movements challenge the body among all planes of motion, not just linear movement. This unique experience will help guide you, like an internal GPS. You will discover a deep sense of connection to the sounds and with others practicing with you. After the movement part of class, you will sink into a luxurious gong bath meditation coupled with aroma therapy and rose quartz. Cool lavender-infused cloths will be provided to cover your eyes during the relaxing and calming gong bath.

Yin Yoga

For all levels. Yin Yoga is a very quiet and slow paced practice. Most postures are seated and held for 3-5 minutes, which deliberately targets the deep connective tissues within the body. Yin Yoga can improve joint health, flexibility, circulation, and mental clarity.
