Unwind in Haven’s healing environments
A hot tub, steam bath, sauna, crystal salt therapy room and tropical rain shower are just a few of the amenities that comprise Haven’s healing environments.
For those brave enough to turn down the heat, Heath recommends the Cold Plunge — a small pool kept at 55 degrees and intended to expedite muscle recovery.
“It’s a must after a vigorous workout,” she said.
Gates said that the combination of yoga and a dip in the hot tub are a perfect time out from the bustle of everyday life.
“When I leave Haven, it’s so much easier to take on different tasks,” she said. “I’ve learned that taking time for yourself is essential.”
