Deanna has been a personal trainer with Columbia Association for more than six years and has been co-teaching Zumba® Circuit for four years. She is thrilled to be teaching TRXⓇ at Haven.
Her favorite part of teaching TRX is that the practice engages the core consistently and that it is ideal for anyone with physical limitations.
What is your favorite form of mind body movement of lesson you teach, and why?
I love the TRX, because it beautifully allows for modifications as well as more advanced progressions depending on the person. I love being able to teach both ends of the spectrum in an encouraging manner with a focus on form.
What inspires you?
I’m inspired by people who overcome physical limitations by digging deep within themselves and discovering an inner strength that outshines their condition.
What is a quote or mantra that you live by?

What is your haven?
My haven is spending together-time with my husband and two daughters. They are my muses and my comfort.
The ideal mix of support and mobility to train strength, balance, endurance, coordination and core stability all at once using your body weight with suspension straps. This class will also fuse movements from other modalities such as yoga, barre, and Pilates.
