Kelly Felix began practicing yoga in 2005 to compliment her running and competitive cycling hobbies, and started teaching in 2016. Kelly brings the traditions of yoga to her students of all levels as she provides an open hearted, accessible approach to her classes. Being able to connect with students right where they are is just one of the many amazing aspects of teaching yoga for Kelly.
She has completed her 500-hr teacher training, AFAA Group Fitness certification, and Reiki Level 1 certification. Kelly adores learning and says that if she can give her students at least one nugget of yoga to take with them, she’s done her job for the day. When she isn’t teaching, Kelly spends time with her family, hikes, bikes, and skis, but also needs her quiet time to recharge. As an introverted extrovert, she believes we all need time to be still, which is just one more thing yoga provides us – a place to breathe, restore, reset.
