What is your favorite form of mind body movement or lesson you teach, and why?

My favorite form of mind body to teach is yoga because it is the foundation of all things. I enjoy highlighting awareness of practice in movement, meditation, breathing and beyond.

What is your favorite song or type of music you listen to when teaching?

Music tells a story. When teaching a Pilates or Barre class my favorite type of music is upbeat with a clear, distinctive musical phrasing (8count without bridges). However, when I teach yoga I prefer more flowing, ambient music.

What inspires you?

I find acts of kindness and love to be very inspirational. I am also inspired by nature.

What is a quote or mantra you live by?

My favorite quote is “Leap and the net will appear” by John Burroughs.
