What is your favorite form of mind body movement or lesson you teach, and why?
Plank. The plank is the foundation of all movement. Most people think of the plank as a mat or floor exercise, but we are actually standing in plank everyday.
What is your favorite song or type of music you listen to when teaching?
Justin Timberlake, “Let the Groove Get In,” because you can get a lot of work in that seven minutes.
What inspires you?
Women who overcome adversity and still manage to raise children, manage homes, excel in careers and keep themselves healthy are what inspires me.
What is a quote or mantra that you live by?
“When you numb the dark, you also numb the light.”
What is your haven?
The ideal mix of support and mobility to train strength, balance, endurance, coordination and core stability all at once using your body weight with suspension straps. This class will also fuse movements from other modalities such as yoga, barre, and Pilates.
