Haven on the Lake presents Veterans Day Yoga

In honor of Veterans Day, Haven on the Lake is hosting free mind body movement classes for the brave men and women who have served our country. All classes will be held virtually via Google Meet, with some classes having an in-person option. Come relieve stress and find a deeper sense of peace while enjoying a full-body workout. 

Schedule of Complimentary Classes

10:15am All-Level Yoga (in person and streamed on Google Meet)
11am Yoga Basics (in person or streamed on Google Meet)
1pm Yin Yoga (streamed on Google Meet)
5:15pm Yin Yoga (in person and streamed on Google Meet)
6:15pm Flow and Restore (streamed on Google Meet)
6:45pm Vinyasa (in person and streamed on Google Meet)
7:15pm 30-Minute Guided Meditation (streamed on Google Meet)

Class Descriptions: 

All-Level Yoga: Our all-level yoga class includes breathwork, Sun Salutations, seated and standing postures, and modifications for all levels.

Yoga Basics: Our Yoga Basics class builds the foundation of your yoga practice as you develop a physical and mental connection with the breath. Class focuses on mindfulness, meditation, sun salutations, postures, alignment, and yoga philosophies.

Yin Yoga: A very quiet and slow-paced practice. Most postures are seated and held for three to five minutes, which targets the deep connective tissues within the body. Yin Yoga can improve joint health, flexibility, circulation and mental clarity. 

Flow and Restore: A relaxing flow class followed by restorative yoga, which holds poses for longer periods of time with the support of props to relax the mind, body, and spirit. All levels.

Vinyasa Yoga: Our Vinyasa Yoga class is a flowing style of yoga that synchronizes the breath with movement. You will build on the fundamentals of Yoga Basics and Hatha Yoga, flowing through a faster, more fluid pace while listening to upbeat music.

Guided Meditation: Our 30-minute guided meditation class is suitable for everyone. The practice can be done sitting up or laying down. No experience necessary.
